🎃🌿 Kids Halloween Nature Retreat! 🌿🎃
We’re taking Halloween into the woods!
Join us Saturday, October 24 from 9a–12 PM at the historic Ross Family Log House at Meade Historic Preserve for an afternoon of costumes, nature, creativity, movement, mindfulness, and Halloween fun.
We’ll head out on a nature walk to explore the preserve and gather fallen leaves, sticks, acorns, seed pods, and other woodland treasures to create our own Halloween nature potions. We’ll also make nature art, play Halloween games, do the Robot Dance, enjoy a short kid-friendly meditation, tell some fun Halloween stories inside the historic log cabin, enjoy seasonal treats, and have plenty of time to explore and play together.
Hosted by the Symmes Historical Society, with the retreat led by Cara Nolte of The Rosa Institute and Project Connection.
